TCV is one project under EU-MUTRAP with the overall objective: "Further Vietnam’s integration into international trading systems, enhance Vietnam – EU trade relations and maximize the benefits for economic development, inclusive growth and poverty reduction."

The specific objective of project: Increase participation of VAFIE and ASME and its members in policy development process for international trade and investment through Trade Advocacy Committees and enhance SME trade capacity and compliance with EU market requirements through Trade Nuclei network.

In the afternoon of October 2016, in Can Tho, the Trade Nucleus under Can Tho Business Association (CBA) held its periodical gathering to learn on current challenges of a member, i.e. Dong Thap Specialty Co. in doing business and share experience on overcoming difficulties in marketing and product promotion. 

On October 07 2016, the Communication group in Hanoi has held a training on "Branding differentiating strategies" for member entrepreneurs. What elements should a company focus on when branding its name to win and have advantages in competitions.

On 29-9-2016, VAFIE jointly held Seminar on “Relationship between overseas remittance and investment activites in Vietnam" at National Economy University. At the moment,  5% of Vietnamese total population are living overseas.

In two days 21 and 09/22/2016 at the Mekong Hotel, No. 210 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ward 7, Tra Vinh Province, the training sessions on tools to support the development of SMEs has been organized and funded by Canada with room to coordinate with department of international collaboration and project promotion in Tra Vinh province.

Workshop on Capacity building on BMO Management and Nucleus Counselling, Cần Thơ city 25-27 October 2016 In 3 days, from 25 to 27 October 2016 in Can Tho City, the EU-funded Trade Capacity Vietnam Project (TCV), being implemented by VAFIE, ASMES and sequa, has organized workshop on Capacity building on BMO Management and Nucleus Counselling.

On June 3rd, 2016, at the Head Office of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises for southern region (ASMES) in Ho Chi Minh City, the Trade Capacity Project (TCV) Steering Committee  held its yearly meeting to review 2nd year result and approve 3rd year plan.

Today, on 3rd June 2016, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Association of small and medium enterprises in southern Vietnam (ASMES) holds the Public-Private Dialogue on Funding Solutions for SMEs in the process of International Economic Integration.
