TCV is one project under EU-MUTRAP with the overall objective: "Further Vietnam’s integration into international trading systems, enhance Vietnam – EU trade relations and maximize the benefits for economic development, inclusive growth and poverty reduction."

The specific objective of project: Increase participation of VAFIE and ASME and its members in policy development process for international trade and investment through Trade Advocacy Committees and enhance SME trade capacity and compliance with EU market requirements through Trade Nuclei network.

On  August 23rd 2016, Dong Da entrepreneurs met and discuss about participating CAEXPO 13 that would be held in September 201.   CAEXPO is a huge fair organized yearly in Nanning , China, with a wide range of exhibition products and participations of representatives from 10 ASEAN countries.

In the morning of 20th August 2016, the Nucleus on Human Resource under Ho Chi Minh City’s Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Executives (HAWEE) held a seminar to exchange and share experience and techniques on keeping employees. Key expert sharing skills was Ms. Thanh Lam, a group member.

Trade Advocacy Committees News

On July 28th 2016, VAFIE and IFC/World Bank Group, VNSME, VNBA, HDBank held a Seminar on Access to Credit by SMEs. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Mai presented results and proposals from his research "Renovation of supporting policies and solutions for SMEs in Vietnam" which had been implemented under the framework of TCV project.

On the morning of 22nd July 2016, in Ha Noi, final session to approve the study on “Solutions of raising funds for SMEs in Vietnam under new trade agreements AEC, EVFTA, TPP” was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Nguyen Mai and participation of representatives of ASMES and TCV project. The theme was adopted within the framework of Trade Advocacy Committee (TAC) of ASMES and lead by Dr.

On June 3rd, 2016, at the Head Office of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises for southern region (ASMES) in Ho Chi Minh City, the Trade Capacity Project (TCV) Steering Committee  held its yearly meeting to review 2nd year result and approve 3rd year plan.

Today, on 3rd June 2016, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Association of small and medium enterprises in southern Vietnam (ASMES) holds the Public-Private Dialogue on Funding Solutions for SMEs in the process of International Economic Integration.

In 6th and 7th of April 2016 in Ho Chi Minh city, with the support and collaboration of the European Trade Policy and Investment Support Project (EU-MUTRAP), the Trade Capacity Vietnam project (TCV), being implemented by VAFIE, ASMES and sequa (Germany), has  organized workshop on International Trade.
