TCV is one project under EU-MUTRAP with the overall objective: "Further Vietnam’s integration into international trading systems, enhance Vietnam – EU trade relations and maximize the benefits for economic development, inclusive growth and poverty reduction."

The specific objective of project: Increase participation of VAFIE and ASME and its members in policy development process for international trade and investment through Trade Advocacy Committees and enhance SME trade capacity and compliance with EU market requirements through Trade Nuclei network.

On 16-02-2017,  Đống Đa SME met to discuss action plan for 2017. From 28/2 to 03/03/2017, an European food and beverage trade mission will visit Hanoi and HCM city to find partners.Members were also informed about TCV's plan such as CSR training (in March) and a PPD in 6/2017.


On the afternoon of 16th Feb. 2017, Can tho Business association (CBA) counsellor Ly Thanh Truc organized the first New Year seminar for Trade Nucleus to summarize its 2016 activities, learn on members’ needs and based on that discuss on plan of activities for 2017, with focus on developing new members and new trade nuclei.

On the morning of 16.02.2017 at 643 Dien Bien Phu str., Ward 1, District 3, HCM city, the workshop "Total Productivity Maintenance TPM" was held to share experiences, practice production capacity and quality raising of the workforce for Vietnam SMEs through dissemination, consultancy and training in quality management, following the standard of the Japanese producers.

On Wednesday morning, the 11th of January 2017, from 9 to 12 a.m., at HCM City Farm Club, 195/23 Dien Bien Phu Street, Ward 25, Binh Thanh District, ten trade and agricultural consultants held a seminar to discuss about developing project on high-tech export-oriented agricultural and pharmaceutical products having high potential in Vietnam. On June 3rd, 2016, at the Head Office of the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises for southern region (ASMES) in Ho Chi Minh City, the Trade Capacity Project (TCV) Steering Committee  held its yearly meeting to review 2nd year result and approve 3rd year plan.

Today, on 3rd June 2016, in Ho Chi Minh City, the Association of small and medium enterprises in southern Vietnam (ASMES) holds the Public-Private Dialogue on Funding Solutions for SMEs in the process of International Economic Integration.
